Gracie and Blu the Greyhounds

We adopted two rescue greyhounds thinking it would be a walk in the park. It quickly became clear to us that they both had very different personalities with one of them being very quiet and growling and snapping if we tried to get him to do something he didn't want to do.

I found Sally's number and gave her a call and within a few days she did a home visit. By the end of it she had them both putty in her hands, sorting out the door jumping was an immediate godsend. She also gave me confidence to manage Blu's tantrums, so she trained us as well as the dogs!

I have contacted her since then to discuss ongoing problems and have always found her advice very helpful. We are now growing in confidence with the dogs which I feel was enabled by Sally. I can't thank her enough as I fear without her we may have given up on Blu.

UPDATE: Blu has for us turned into the dog you saw in him when you visited. He is an absolute darling, so soft and loves a cwtch. They are both great on the lead and are now really good with other dogs, including little ones. We still keep them muzzled for walks and on leads as I couldn't live with myself if they attacked any dog again.

We never thought we'd get there and I'm sure he would have gone back if you hadn't visited and also supported me on the phone when I called.
