He had always been a bit nervous of people he didn’t know but this had recently escalated into barking at people out and about. He then started running over to people nowhere near him to chase them (while still barking).

Not knowing what he had been through before he came to us and feeling sorry for him and his poor start in life, we lavished Bear with loving affection and tried to make his life as comfortable and enriched as possible. He became a joy to be around, so long as it was in the house or garden, but this became his whole world as we can't take him out in public and he is missing out on so much. We knew we still needed help.

Some of Sally’s suggestions seemed surprising at first, but it was just a new way of looking at things. When I followed her advice I could see changes in Dora immediately and things have continued to improve.

My dog had been reported to the police for enthusiastically jumping up on someone on several occasions. They were not happy and felt I had no control over my 1 year old, 33kg, brown male Labrador.

We have had numerous trainers, been to countless classes, spent twelve months using a long line, been advised to give high value treats, we tried seemingly everything.

Update 7 weeks after our first Zoom with Sally: His fussy eating has completely stopped, we have changed his pattern and food and now there is no hesitation in eating his dinner in one go. He no longer charges out of his cage which he used to previously. He lies down, we put his lead on and he waits for us to calmly lead him out.

Now our home is calm and relaxed. We are so pleased and quite amazed how quickly we achieved this.

I decided to contact Sally Barnes purely as without some form of help I could see no way of changing her behaviour.

Since our session with Sally, I have had the calmest days in over a year with Luna and she is a much happier dog as well which is lovely to see. My only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner!
