Success stories

From aggression to lead pulling, from puppies to rescue dogs, from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers and all crosses in-between, I have experienced all sorts of problem behaviours. Read more about my methods in these testimonials from some of my dog training clients.

Poppy the Boxer

Poppy the Boxer
UPDATE: So for the second session with Sally I thought there was no way we could move forward much, how wrong I was.

Cooper the Labradoodle

Cooper the Labradoodle
If only we knew how important it is to get this right from day one before bad habits form. We are now on the road to recovery and making good progress to having a well behaved dog and happy owners.

Benji the Collie

Benji the Collie
UPDATE: We have just had our 3rd session with Sally for Benji, over a period of 4 weeks and feel we have made a huge amount of progress. Sally has taught us how to be the leaders in our house, where the work to rehabilitate really starts.

Tilly the Jack Russell

Tilly the Jack Russell
She has given us hope that we will be able to save Tilly and have a lovely, obedient dog who only wants to please us at the end of it all, although it will be a long road ahead.

Diesel and Zeba the Golden Retrievers

Diesel and Zeba the Golden Retrievers
There is no doubt in my mind that Sally has been blessed with this unique gift of talking to the animals. She is a joy to work with and it is a privilege to be in her company. Sally is an inspiration. My parents and I are looking forward very much to the next visit and to continue our learning to be the 'pack leader'.

Marmite the Springer Spaniel

Marmite the Springer Spaniel
UPDATE: I knew I had made mistakes following my first session and I was struggling to get things right but after listening to what Sally had to say and putting her advice into practice things improved greatly.

Jake and Bo the Border Terriers

Jake and Bo the Border Terriers
Immediately Sally had us take back control of our house and be the pack leaders, by talking to us about the basic rules in the home we could see why the dogs did not trust or follow us.

Bosco the Labradoodle

Bosco the Labradoodle
During our training sessions Sally was careful to explain why she took a particular approach to help us change certain behaviours that Bosco displayed. She always considered our views and thought through problems that we encountered with Bosco when putting our training into practice.

Boba the Patterdale Terrier

Boba the Patterdale Terrier
After purchasing my sixth TV remote, minus many shoes and several pairs of glasses I was at the end of my tether over the behaviour of our beloved Patterdale terrier aged 20 months.

Lexi the German shepherd

Lexi the German shepherd
WOW, what a difference! The work done on the first session with Sally was intense, but amazing, I can't believe how well Lexi responsed with no use of treats or toys!

Crumble the Border Terrier

Crumble the Border Terrier
UPDATE: In the few days since Crumble has been a model citizen in the garden, ignoring neighbour's barking dogs and church bells. Neither Crumble or ourselves are quite the finished article but we are more confident than ever that we will get there.

Jackson the Pointer

Jackson the Pointer
I am so pleased that we have had advice from Sally from before picking the puppy up, getting the house and pen ready, getting the appropriate bones, getting his food. There was so much that Sally has really got us off to a great start, teaching the whole family how to be with Jackson.

Heidi the Golden Retriever

Heidi the Golden Retriever
After the first session many of our bad habits were corrected and Heidi responded amazingly - no further over-enthusiastic greeting of visitors, no pulling on the lead and happy to walk where we wished to go.

Lilly the Border Terrier

Lilly the Border Terrier
From the moment Sally came to our home she was definitely the pack leader - Lilly knew straight away she was in the pack and not the leader anymore. What Sally has taught us in the last couple of weeks has been invaluable to us, we can now all sit in the living room, two dogs and two cats with no aggro.

Cassy the Cavapoo

Cassy the Cavapoo
When our Cavapoo pup arrived at eight weeks of age, we thought “It’s only a puppy” but then the mess, jumping, chewing, tripping and general chaos began to get us down.

Des the Pug

Des the Pug
Des had always seemed a worried little dog but after a very short time with Sally I could see that he was completely comfortable with her as pack leader. He seemed to relax fully for the first time ever. He even went to lie on his bed for the first time ever!

Margo the Toy Poodle

Margo the Toy Poodle
I allowed Margo to stay on the floor and greet Sally. When I say greet, I mean nip. I was horrified. Sally made me realise that if Margo was a large breed dog we would have a big problem on our hands, she made me aware that even though Margo is tiny we still had a big problem on our hands.

Oscar the Weimaraner

Oscar the Weimaraner
Oscar (Weimaraner) and I have had 3 sessions with Sally and the difference in him is incredible!

Jess the Collie

Jess the Collie
I have never been able to walk out of my front door without my dog jumping all over me and pulling at my clothes, trying to get me to stay.

Bartie the Indian Pariah

Bartie the Indian Pariah
Bartie is an Indian Pariah (or Indian National Dog/Street dog). Four months ago when we returned to the UK, we had to put him quarantine for four months. Bartie got through quarantine just fine, but within a few days, he started showing signs of overt dominance both inside the house with us and outside in the park.
