Winnie the Cockapoo

The moment Sally entered our home and met Winnie our 18 month old Cockapoo, we couldn't believe how instantly calm she was.

As first time dog owners we were struggling with Winnie's behaviour as it was becoming obvious that she was the leader in our house and not the other way round! Whilst being a very affectionate dog, she was aggressive to anyone entering our home as she was acting as the protector. She was also notorious for pulling on the lead whilst walking with us, which had become a constant battle.

Sally informed us of the importance of us being her pack leader and that she should rely on us being in charge (leaders of the pack). We were absolutely amazed by the change in her behaviour right from Sally's first visit and we now have the tools to be able, with persistence and consistency, to change Winnie's behaviour.  She is quickly learning that we are in charge. Previous to Sally's visit we were treat training but now know that this is unnecessary and that we should be the treat reward for her good behaviour - and it's working. Sally has an amazing gift for understanding and communicating with dogs and we can't thank her enough for enabling us to have a happy and calm dog (and household).
