Stanley the Dalmatian

We called in Sally to help us with our beautiful 18 month old Dalmatian, Stanley. He has a range of issues including jumping up, lead pulling, recall and even dog on dog aggression from time to time.

After searching the net we found Sally's website. A good read through of the success stories and testimonials and a viewing of the video convinced us that she was exactly what we needed. How right we were!

Within minutes of meeting Stanley, Sally had him lying on the floor next to her. We could hardly believe our eyes as it would typically be a good half hour before he began to settle down when we had visitors. He was calm, relaxed and oblivious to our three year old daughter running around the room when usually he would be chasing after her. Incidentally, Sally also had an effect on our daughter who ran over to her and gave her a huge cuddle. She never does this to people she doesn't know. It must've been her calm, reassuring manner!

It's been three days since our first session and we have already noticed a huge difference in Stanley. He no longer jumps on us when we open the doors, he is happy lying on his own bed and not our sofa or chairs. He is still trying it on now and again but these episodes are becoming less frequent with each passing day. His pulling on the lead has dramatically reduced and while not perfect, it's a massive improvement. We know that as he and just as importantly, US, get used to the new ways it will continue to improve. We have a long, long way to go but at least now we're confident that we are heading in the right direction and with more guidance from Sally we know we will get there.
