Maddie the setter/retriever

Simon and I acquired Maddie, a rescue setter/retriever cross about 2 months ago.  She was 16 months old and had already been unsuccessfully rehomed.

Very quickly we felt unable to manage her - she was a talented escapologist with a penchant for leaping over very high fences - not what we wanted at all.

Through recommendation we were put in touch with Sally who came to our rescue. Over the past few weeks we have had a number of regular sessions and have gone back to basics and learnt how to work with Maddie.

She is a different dog.  Obviously the training continues but she is a lot happier in herself and we are now equipped with the tools we need to work with her and continue to make her part of our lives.

Without Sally's support and guidance we wouldn't have got this far and may even have returned Maddie to the rescue charity we got her from.  Sally's techniques are invaluable and she proves that they work. I have already recommended her to others and wouldn't hesitate to do so - thank you!
