Mika the German Shepherd

Thanks to your help, we have two lovely dogs that often have comments on how well behaved they are. They are both still young (Mika 2yrs, Flint 18months), so training continues from the good grounding you gave us. If we had not come to you in their early life, they would probably be restricted to walking on flexi-leads in quiet country lanes! But as it is we have no problem taking them to busy town centres, parks full of dogs or down canalsides full of ducks and other birds!

Firstly, it has been very valuable that you been able to start with Mika from an early age. She has therefore had a consistent approach from the beginning. It has also been useful that you have come into Mika's own environment which has meant that you can cater for our own specific needs and Mika and I see the training as a part of daily life and not as something that one goes to do some where else. Having a task to practice between classes helps to consolidate the lessons we have learnt. Despite the fact that our very willful puppy needs some strong discipline at times, she still thinks that you are the bee's knees!
