Theo the Sharpei/Rottweiler/Staffie cross

I have had Theo for several years now after finding him at a rescue centre in London. He is a Sharpei/Rottweiler/Staff cross. He is a loving companion but he's been sold the wrong story and I found it hard to change his behaviour.

This dog desperately wants to be with you at all times and let's you know about it if he's not. He has always slept in the same room as me at night. I tried everything but his desperation not to be alone was too much. I have never been able to leave a room with out him following me. Toilet/shower/kitchen anywhere. He barges past me on the stairs, up or down, to be in front.

He has bitten upwards of 15 people, mainly my children's friends. Never seriously, always a cowardly nip on the ankle and a hasty retreat. He has sporadic bursts of destruction. He pulls down the curtains, and tries to scratch and eat his way out of the house. Causing massive damage to the house and himself! This dog is powerful, he's clever, and can be dangerous around food.

The average family would have quit on him, and he would have found himself again on death row. I could go on...

After coming home and finding my house had been destroyed again. I was at my wits end and desperate for a solution. I called Sally and she agreed to see him.

What happened next was surprising to see. Within the first hour she had him understanding his position in the pack; walking to heel and taking instructions like a pro. He has always pulled on the lead when walking! With her instructions I was able to reclaim the stairs, the sofa and my dog's respect.

That same night and for the first time in three years, He slept downstairs. He won't come up the stairs at all. That's incredible!

The change in a short space of time was massive and I was shocked. I highly recommend Sally and her fantastic work!
